The Space

Where your friends and family will make memories that last a lifetime. The Vue sits directly on the mouth of the Smith River in Northern California. There are breathtaking views from both decks & the spa. With ample seating in the living room to kick back and watch the action when the weather turns. However... the deck and grill area will be calling your name from the minute you arrive! We know you'll be dreaming about The Vue for years to come after you've spent some of your best moments here.

Luxury Amenities

The home offers lighted pathway entry with digital keypad check-in into the two bedroom home. You'll walk into a spacious living area straight ahead, and kitchen with coffee bar island seating to the right. The kitchen offers full sized appliances, dishes, cookware, Keurig, and a nice open feel. The first bedroom offers a King sized bed, Smart TV, and closet space. Our second bedroom has a Queen sized bed, a Smart TV, and closet space.

The living room is where many nights will be spent relaxing on the sleeper sofa and love seat, watching the 65" smart TV or in the garage battling one another at Foosball! So much natural light really highlights this space, and invites you onto the deck for another seating area. Kick back and enjoy a mid afternoon snack while watching the kids skip rocks on the beach below. With a beverage of your choice in hand of course!

Additionally, right off the office is the second deck that sports a new hot tub with extra privacy fence and string lights for night time soaks under the stars! The office space can also be used as a bedroom if more privacy is needed. The office has a fold down futon and shades on the windows that can be closed off to create a third bedroom.

Hi! We both grew up in California and love to spend most of our time outdoors! We have been married for three years, Have three wonderful dogs and a super cute cat named Penny. As soon as we walked on to this property we knew it was something special. We made the decision to buy it before we even went inside! The house needed some love and we were ready for the challenge. After the huge undertaking of remodeling the house we are so happy to share it with you!! We love it here!!!

We've put a lot of love and care into the home to make it a wonderful place for a romantic or family getaway. We love relaxing on the deck watching the wildlife. The location is perfect and the Smith River is legendary.

The home is just steps to the rocky beach which is great for morning or evening walks. We're excited to make many more memories here and are happy to be able to offer The VUE for you to make memories at as well. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay perfect.

We loved everything about this home with its gorgeous ocean views! It was spotless, very tastefully and comfortably decorated, well-equipped, lots of natural light, easy to find, and with hosts that were extremely helpful both before, during and after our stay. This is also close to Redwood State and National Parks with plenty of beauty as well. If you are ever looking for a peaceful oceanside place to relax, walk on beach, hang out, or just stare at the waves, birds and sea lions, then look no further. I’d rate this as six stars if it were an option!

The view of the mouth of the Smith River from the house was absolutely stunning. Ever changing with sunrises, sunsets, tide changes, dramatic surf, and abundant wildlife. The home itself was immaculate and the kitchen was well stocked and appointed. We made use of the hot tub which faces the view as well. Zoe provided nice small touches such as a generous coffee, tea, and snack station, and the use of binoculars. Nice shoreline walk directly from the home as well as short easy drives to excellent day hikes.

Perhaps the nicest AirBnb we have ever experienced.
